Guy Primus is Chief Operating Officer at Overbrook Entertainment, the film, TV and transmedia production company whose partners include James Lassiter, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and Ken Stovitz. As COO, Guy oversees Overbrook’s day-to-day operations. Guy also heads Overbrook's strategic planning and operations group, an organization dedicated to expanding and optimizing Overbrook's business portfolio.

Guy serves on the board of directors of Starling.TV, the social TV platform that allows viewers to chat, play and interact with one another while watching television, and on the advisory boards of JibJab Media,  a leading provider of digital greetings and online entertainment, Fusion TV, a media company that produces and distributes high-definition action sports and adventure travel video content—on a global scale, and Interactive One, the leading online platform serving the African American Community through news, information, entertainment and social networking. He is also a three-time judge of the NAMIC Vision Awards.

Prior to joining Overbrook, Guy was Director of Digital Media at Starbucks Entertainment. In this role, Guy was responsible for setting the strategic direction of Starbucks’ digital entertainment initiatives including negotiation and product planning for Starbucks' groundbreaking deal with iTunes. Guy has also served as Group Product Marketing Manager at Microsoft’s MSN division where he oversaw marketing and revenue advertising for MSN Entertainment, and at Bad Boy Entertainment, where he served as Vice President of Strategy & Planning for Blue Flame, the marketing and advertising agency founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Guy's passion for technology and entertainment has resulted in experiences that range from being a Patent-Pending inventor to serving as A&R for Universal Music recording artist Anjulie. Guy's success in the world of interactive media led him to being selected as one of Urban Influence Magazine's Men of Influence for 2009 and being named to Georgia Tech's Council of Outstanding Young Engineering Alumni, an honor limited to less than 1/2 of 1% of all Georgia Tech's engineering graduates.

Guy earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech. Guy, his wife, Heather, and their son, Grant, reside in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles.
